Oban Slipway Co

1926 Oban Slipway Company Limited, of 180 Hope Street, Glasgow, was incorporated as a private company, with capital of £15,000, to carry on business as shipbuilders, designers and repairers.[1] The company occupied the works on the island of Kerrera, at Oban, formerly operated by Munro's Shipbuilding, Repairing and Engineering Co.

1937 The business was acquired by a new company, the West Highland Slipway Company Limited.[2]

1938 The Oban Slipway Co went into voluntary liquidation.[3]
