1861 The business of T. R. and R. Hunt was at Atlas Works[1]

When Thomas and Robert Hunt died the business passed to Reuben Hunt (1836-1927) who became the sole proprietor.

1872 James Augustus Tawell joined Hunt in running the business at Atlas Works, Earl's Colne, which became Hunt and Tawell

1886 After Tawell left the business became R. Hunt and Co
