1977 The ship-repair industry in London was publicly acquired (becoming part of British Shipbuilders); the firms of R. and H. Green and Silley Weir Ltd and the London Graving Dock Co Ltd. were combined, with 1600 employees. Their workshops were adjacent to dry docks owned by the Port of London Authority.

1979 The company had 800 employees but later than year was closed

1988 The company was in Liquidation[1]
