1868 Partnership change. '...the Partnership heretofore subsisting between the undersigned, John Roberts, William Jowlings, John Edward Barnard, and William Roberts, all of Lightpill Mills, near Stroud, in the county of Gloucester, in the trade or business of Woollencloth Manufacturers, carried on at the Lightpill Mills aforesaid, under the style or firm of Roberts, Jowlings, and Company, was, on and from the 31st day-of December, 1867, dissolved by mutual consent, so far as regards the said William Roberts; and that the said trade or business has been since the said 31st day of December, 1867, and still is carried by the undersigned, John Roberts, William Jowlings, and John Edward Barnard, alone, under the style or firm of Roberts, Jowlings, and Company...'[1]

1894 Partnership dissolved. '... the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us the undersigned William John Ford and Charles Stephens, carrying on business as Woollen Cloth Manufacturers, at Lightpill Mills, near Stroud, Gloucestershire, under the style or firm of Roberts, Jowlings, and Co., having expired, by effluxion of time, has been dissolved, by mutual consent as and from the 30th day of June, 1894. All debts due to and owing by the said late firm will be received and paid by the said Charles Stephens, who will continue the said business...'[3]
