1823 Matthais Robinson and Co manufactured a patent Barley and Groats drink, sold in powder form.

1903 After several mergers, Keen Robinson and Co became part of J. and J. Colman[1]

1935 Robinson's Barley Water was created for the Wimbledon tennis championship - a Colman's representative created a drink to refresh and hydrate the players, by combining barley crystals with lemon juice, sugar and water[2].
