1852 Partnership change. '... the Partnership hereto fore subsisting between us the undersigned, Edmund Stead, Edward Simpson, and Richard Nickols, carrying on business as Patent Leather Manufacturers, at Sheepscar, in Leeds, in the county of York, under the style or firm of Stead, Simpson, and Co. has this day been dissolved by mutual consent, so far as regards the said Richard Nickols. And notice is hereby further given, that the said business will in future be carried on by the said Edmund Stead and Edward Simpson, upon the said premises, at Sheepscar aforesaid, under the style or firm of Stead and Simpson, by whom all debts due to and owing by the said partnership of Stead, Simpson, and Co. will be received and paid...'[1]
