1851 Residing at Church Street, St. Mary's, Scilly Isles; Thomas Edwards (age 48 born St. Mary's, Scilly Isles) Ship Builder employing 7 men and 13 boys. with his wife Elizabeth and three sons Thomas Edwards (age 10 born St. Mary's, Scilly Isles); Nicholas Pascoe Edwards (age 7 born St. Mary's, Scilly Isles); and Alfred Edwards (age 2 born St. Mary's, Scilly Isles).[1]

1861 Residing at Church Street, St. Mary's, Scilly Isles: Thomas Edwards (age 56 born St. Mary's, Scilly Isles), Ship Builder employing 17 men and 14 Apprentices. With his wife Elizabeth and sons Thomas Edwards (age 20 born Scilly Isles), Shipwright, and Alfred Edwards (age 12 born Scilly Isles), Scholar.[2]

1881 September 01st. Died. Thomas Edwards the elder late of 396 York Road, Camden Town. Probate to Thomas Edwards, Ironmonger of 396 York Road, Camden Town and Nicholas Pascoe Edwards, Shipbuilder of 112 Manor Road, New Cross.
