The 1890/1893 25" O.S. map here[1] shows the large premises fronting onto Regent Road almost opposite Sandon Dock gates. Two pubs occupied the south west corner of the site, separated from the engine works by a dock railway branch which headed NNE to the docks. Bounded on the south by Boundary Street, and on the east by Victoria Street, which was home to the Huskisson Engine Works.
