1816 Baptised in Sheffield, son of William Tyzack and his wife Sarah[1]

1851 William Tyzack 35, scythe manufacturer, employing 30 men, lived in Ecclesall Bierlow, with hiw wife Fanny Tyzack 36, children Anne Tyzack 8, Fanny Tyzack 6, William Tyzack 4, Stuart Tyzack 6 Mo, and his brother, Joshua Tyzack 34[2]

1858 William Tyzack (senior) died. His sons, Ebenezer, William Jnr. and Joshua, carried on the business as co-partners.

1861 William Tyzack 44, scythe manufacturer, living in Ecclesall Bierlow, with Maria Tyzack 28, Anne Tyzack 18, Fanny Tyzack 16, William Tyzack 14, Fredrick Tyzack 12, Stuart Tyzack 10, Walter Tyzack 3, Helen Tyzack 2, Percy Tyzack 11 months[3]

1870 William Tyzack Junior took a partner named Benjamin Turner to form W. Tyzack, Sons and Turner. Turner had married William's elder sister Ann so had been a member of the family for many years prior to the partnership.

1889 Died in Ecclesall Bierlow[4]
