"PERCY ROBERT WACE, M.A., who was born in 1901, was educated at the King's School, Canterbury, and Brasenose College, Oxford, where he graduated B.A. with second-class honours in 1924, proceeding later to the degree of M.A.
After two years of practical training with the Metropolitan-Vickers Electrical Company, Ltd., he secured an appointment as assistant works manager to Messrs. Brunner, Mond and Company, Ltd., Northwich.
In 1928 he became works general manager with a seat on the board of Messrs. Jenkins Brothers, Ltd., Birkenhead, but left this firm four years later and joined Messrs.
