1965 Reed Paper Group acquired Wall Paper Manufacturers[1] which became part of a newly formed Decorative Products Division together with Crown and later Polycell. It already owned L&P Plastics; the MD was M.K. Collins.[2]
1966 The main parts of the division were Key Terrain, L&P Plastics, Farmiloe Sealants, A. B. Plastics and Burn Brothers[3]
1971 Reed International acquired Twyfords and formed a new main division of the parent company called Reed Building Products Division. Key Terrain, Burn Brothers and James Ferguson were transferred into the division from Wall Paper Manufacturers[4]

1983 Acquired Elliott of Walsall and associated company British Optical Lens Co. The company names were changed to Elliott Moulders (Electronics) Ltd and The British Optical Lens Company (1983) Ltd respectively.
1985 Management buy-out, including the 14 subsidiaries, from Reed International. Name changed to Caradon
