George Leopold Holzapfel (1888-1978)

Born the son of Albert Charles Augustus Holzapfel and his wife Margaret

1891 Living at 22 Addiscombe Road, Croydon: Albert C. A. Holzapfel (age 38 born Germany (naturalized)), Manufacturer of Compositions - Employer. With his wife Margaret A. Holzapfel (age 33 born Yarmouth) and their seven children; Albert G. Holzapfel (age 12 born Newcastle); Theodore W. Holzapfel (age 11 born Newcastle); Margaret Holzapfel (age 9 born Newcastle); Juluis G. Holzapfel (age 7 born Newcastle); Dorothea K. Holzapfel (age 5 born Gateshead); George L. Holzapfel (age 2 born Annerley); and Hilda Holzapfel (age 3 months born Croydon). Also his mother-in-law Ann Ward. Three servants.[1]

With his wife Kate Holzapfel (age 51 born Hotton, Suffolk) and their son Frederick Holzapfel (age 24 born Newcastle), Engineer (Steam - Shipbuilders. Also his nephew George Holzapfel (age 22 born Annerley, London), Engineer (Gas Engines). Three servants.[2]
