'We regret to record the death, on December 19, of Mr. Paul Kelly. Mr. Kelly, who was eighty-three, was the son of one of the founders of what is now the Lamson Engineering Company Ltd. and joined Lamson in 1901, thirteen years after its formation. In 1902 Mr. Kelly was appointed to the board of the Lamson Store Service Company and in 1905 to that of the Lamson Pneumatic Tube Company. When these were amalgamated under the present name in 1937, Mr. Kelly became managing director of the new company. He retired from executive office in 1951, be retained his seat on the board and in 1959 was appointed chairman.'
