Note: this is a sub-section of GKN

1962 As part of the reorganization of the company's activities concerning nuts, bolts, screws, fasteners etc., a new company was formed GKN Bolts and Nuts[1]
1966 GKN re-organised its businesses, with the UK business arranged into 7 sub-groups, one of which was GKN Bolts and Nuts[2]. In this group were the subsidiary companies:
- Acton Bolt Division, London
- Atlas Division, Darlaston
- A. P. Newall Division, Glasgow
- L. H. Newton Division, Birmingham
- Rivet Bolt and Nut Division, Coatbridge.
