William Rose (1856-1929) of Rose Brothers (Gainsborough) and Northern Manufacturing Co

He became a retail tobacconist in Gainsborough[1]
1881 Invented a machine for wrapping tobacco automatically, which led to the formation of the firm that became Rose Brothers (Gainsborough).
