1933 Owned the Sussex Electricity Supply Co Ltd. Sold the Sussex company to the Southern Areas Electric Corporation, thereby acquiring almost half of the shares in the Southern Corporation[1].
1935 Also held a controlling interest in Power Management Ltd[2]
1936 Acquired shares in Switchgear and Cowans
1948 The electricity supply companies were nationalized.
