1929 Founded as a joint venture between the Great Western Railway and the National Omnibus and Transport Co
1930 After financial reconstruction of the National Omnibus and Transport Co, all of its assets were put into 3 associated companies: Eastern National Omnibus Co, Western National Omnibus Co and Southern National Omnibus Co which were jointly owned with the 4 major railway companies[1]
1931 A controlling interest in the National Omnibus was acquired by the Thomas Tilling Ltd
1948 Part of National Omnibus and Transport Co; owned Bristol Tramways and Carriage Co Ltd. Nationalised; acquired by the British Transport Commission[2]
1969 Became part of the National Bus Co
1987 Sold by National Bus Co as part of the privatisation process.
By 1994 was owned by Badgerline[3]
