1958 Samlesbury Engineering formed a subsidiary named in memory of its parent's recently closed sibling, Lancashire Aircraft Company Ltd. The directors were Eric Rylands (chairman), Sir Wavell Wakefield and David Gaunt.
The company continued the development and production of the Edgar Percival EP.9 utility aircraft.
At first the operation was set up at Stapleford Aerodrome, but in 1960 it was moved to Samlesbury Aerodrome.
1961 production stopped
1963 The Company moved to Ryland's airport at Lympne, where it ran a small maintenance and repair operation specialising in the Prospectors but it had closed completely by 1964
1982 Company wound up[1] Aeronautical Engineers. Registered office: Guinea Hall, Sellridge, Kent[2]
