1938 Gasworks at Bampton, Oxon.[3]
1946 Acquired all the ordinary capital of Clifton Securities Co. Ltd., which carries on electric cable ...[4]
1947 Transferred its gas interests to a separate company, North Western Gas Corporation (formed by the operating group, Clifton Securities Co Ltd). The remainder became a purely holding company.
1949 Name changed to Reliance-Clifton Cables and Industrial Products
