This is a subsection of AEI
Several of the constituent companies of AEI made and sold lamps and thermionic valves, and the fittings for lamps:
- Metropolitan-Vickers: Lamps and Valves
- BTH: Mazda
- Edison Swan Electric Co
- Cosmos Lamp Works
- Harcourts
Later production and sales of lamps became part of AEI Lamp and Lighting Co.
Glass Bulbs Ltd., Glass Tubes and Components, and Lamp Caps were joint ventures with GEC to manufacture glassware and components for radio valves and lamps.
After the 1960 reorganization, Radio Components were part of Radio and Electronic Components Division
