1945 Eastwoods Ltd would amalgamate the 4 subsidiary companies for reasons of efficiency, namely Eastwoods Flettons Ltd, Eastwoods Cement Ltd, Eastwoods Lewes Cement Ltd and Eastwoods Humber Cement Ltd [8].
1963 Acquired by Rugby Portland Cement Co who sold Eastwoods Ltd to Redland Holdings who sold Eastwood Cement back to Rugby Portland, including its 3 cement plants[9].
