"ARTHUR LESLIE LARGE was identified with the city of Birmingham during the whole of his career. He received his education at the Central Technical College, obtaining a first class Certificate of the City and Guilds of London Institute for mechanical engineering, and served his apprenticeship from 1907 to 1911 with [[Belliss and Morcom|Messrs. "ARTHUR LESLIE LARGE was identified with the city of Birmingham during the whole of his career. He received his education at the Central Technical College, obtaining a first class Certificate of the City and Guilds of London Institute for mechanical engineering, and served his apprenticeship from 1907 to 1911 with Messrs. Belliss and Morcom, Ltd., in whose employment he continued as a fitter and erector for a further two years.
