Captain JOHN JOSEPH CARUS REVILL, R.E., ret., was born in 1880 and educated in the U.S.A. and at Willesden Polytechnic Institute. He served his apprenticeship with the Hendon Athletic Supply Company from 1897 to 1901, on the conclusion of which he entered the drawing office of the [[Fawcett Construction Co|Fawcett Construction Company]], Westminster. Three years later he was appointed assistant to the chief of the technical staff of [[Fraser and Fraser|Messrs. Captain JOHN JOSEPH CARUS REVILL, R.E., ret., was born in 1880 and educated in the U.S.A. and at Willesden Polytechnic Institute.
