1926 Consisted of:
Six specialist but independent companies operating through a single organisation: Butler; Churchill; Kendall and Gent; Lang; Parkinson; Ward.
By 1937 there were 8 members. Harold Butler of Butler Machine Tools had been chairman twice.
1959 Lapointe Machine Co, of Massachussetts, was appointed sales representatives for 5 companies who were member of the Associated British Machine Tool Makers, namely Butler Machine Tool Co, Churchill Machine Tool Co, John Lang and Sons, J. Parkinson and Son (Shipley), and H. W. Ward and Co [2]
