1966 Nuclear Design and Construction Ltd is the joint company formed in July this year by English Electric , Babcock and Wilcox and Taylor Woodrow, partners in the Consortium which was awarded three contracts by the Central Electricity Generating Board totalling £225 million for the Hinkley Point, Sizewell and Wylfa Nuclear Power Stations.[1]
1968 renamed Babcock English Electric Nuclear which later became British Nuclear Design and Construction
