c.1870 T. Harrison Lambert (it is presumed) purchased Thomas Humber's first velocipede and then his second one[1].
1877 Rode a bicycle supplied by Humber, Marriott and Cooper at the Goose Fair at Nottingham; this was to feature later in court cases between William Bown and Thomas Humber in 1883 and between Bown and Centaur Cycle Co in 1890[2].
1885 Carried on business in partnership with Humber
1888 First became a company director, of Humber
1896 Director of Humber and the Great Horseless Carriage Co [3]
1896 Promoted the Leather Shod Wheel Co
1895-7 received considerable sums from Ernest Terah Hooley as result of buying and selling shares in cycle companies.
1899 Resigned his directorship of Humber and other companies due to legal proceedings against him of which he was acquitted
