At the AGM, in the absence of the president, Mr. W. Arnold (East Peckham) was voted to the chair. Amongst those present were Messrs. J. Allen (Oxford), T. Aveling (Rochester), R. W. Eddison (Leeds), Jesse Ellis (Maidstone), James Fearnley (manager Barnsley British Co-operative Society), W . H. Wilcox (London), W. Morrison (St. Peter's), T. Danks (Netherton, near Dudley), Thompson (Hunts), Wicksteed, Travis (Shropshire), H. R. Summers (secretary), etc. Others at the meeting included R. Sheard and Mr Vanderstigen[1]
