GEC Switchgear Division

1967 GEC established a subsidiary which brought together the previous GEC and AEI business units in switchgear which were rapidly integrated.[1]

1969 GEC Power Engineering was formed which included this division[2]. The Switchgear division included the relevant parts of GEC, AEI and English Electric Co, and J. G. Statter and Co and Switchgear and Cowans

1978 GEC Switchgear Ltd became GEC High Voltage Switchgear Ltd
