Edouard Delamare-Deboutteville
Edouard Delamare-Deboutteville (c1856-1901), Engineer of Fontaine-le-Bourg, near Rouen, France.
He was attached to the important firms of Creusot in France and Cockerill in Belgium, and was a Chevalier of the Legion of Honour.
In collaboration with M. Malandin, he invented the Simplex Gas Engine.
