George Preston (c1811-1877) of J. Stone and Co

1871 Living at 25 Wickham Terrace, Deptford: George Preston (age 60 born Portsmouth), Partner - Iron and Brass Founder. With his wife Jemina Ann Preston (age 53 born London) and their four children Emma Eliza Preston (age 29 born Deptford); Alice Sophia Preston (age 22 born Deptford); Julia Mary Preston (age 18 born Deptford); and Walter John Preston (age 15 born Deptford). Two visitors. Two servants.[1]

1877 Died at Lewisham High Road; executors were his sons Frederick Philip Preston, Edwin James Preston and Reuben Thomas Preston[2]
