1938 Appointed Ford main dealers

1958 Godfrey Davis, the London car dealer, cut the deposit needed on car purchases to 5 percent[2]

1959 Public listing of shares in the company, car hire specialists and Ford main dealers.[3]

1991 Godfrey Davis (Holdings) changed its name to Davis Service Group; the business included automotive retail and industrial services[4]
