Britannia Foundry, Stalybridge
The 1892/1894 O.S. map [3] shows the foundry bounded by Whitelands Road, Clarence Street, the Huddersfield Canal, and the Enterprise Nail Works. The foundry was approx 250 yards north west of the Globe Iron Works of John Summers and Sons.
