of Donington House, Norfolk Street, Strand, London

  • 1900 The lease was granted to the lessee company on April 25th.
  • 1908 The tramways comprised in the South Staffordshire Tramways lease were of a route length of about 23 miles. Certain sections of the line have since been purchased by local authorities, but, with the exception of a portion of the line in Walsall of about 4 miles, these are now leased direct to the lessee company. All the tramways leased to the company are now worked by electricity. [1]
