1792 Formerly William Matthews and when he died the business was continued by his widow Charlotte
1802 On Charlotte's death it was taken over by M. and R. Boulton, J. and G. Watt and Company to accept bills for Boulton's companies. Two thirds of the company was owned by Matthew Boulton and his son Matthew Robinson Boulton and the remaining third by James Watt, Junior and Gregory Watt
