George Stothert (1786-1858) of Stothert, Rayno and Pitt

Son of George Stothert, who had established a ironmongery business in Bath.

1815 George junior established the Horse Street Foundry in Bath. He played an important role in encouraging and helping his young cousin Edward Snell in his engineering career.
