Robert Cain (1826-1907), founder of the Robert Cain Brewery

1826 April 26th. Born in Spike Island, Cork the son of James Cain

1847 April 4th. Married in Liverpool to Ann Newall

1901 Living at Meols Drive, Hoylake: Robert Cain (age 74 born Liverpool), Brewer - Employer - Widow. Five servants.[1]

1907 July 19th. Died, of Mersey Brewery, 57 Stanhope Street, Liverpool, and of Barn Hey, Meols Drive, Hoylake. Probate to William Ernest Cain and Charles Alexander Cain, brewers.
