c.1862 Born in Westrop, Notts.

1889 Birth of son Gilbert James Scott

1911 Living at Oakland, Thorpe St. Andrew, Norwich: William Harding Scott (age 49 born Westrop, Nottinghamshire), Electrical Engineer - Employer. With his wife Clara Mary Scott (age 41 born Shere, Surrey) and their two daughters Katherine Reavell Scott (age 11 born Norwich) and Joan Elsie Scott (age 5 born Norwich). Four servants.[1]

"...death of Mr. William Harding Scott, founder and chairman of Laurence Scott and Electromotors, Ltd., a prominent figure has been removed from the field of electrical manufacture.
