1883 Messrs. W. White and Sons, of the Vectis Works, Cowes.[1]

1889 'The racing cutter Drina, which has just been launched at the Vectis Works, Cowes, has been built by White and Son for Prince Batthyany'[2]

1890 Dissolution of the Partnership between Arthur White and Edwin White, as Engineers and Boiler Makers, Iron and Brass Founders, and Yacht, Steam-launch, Ship, and Boat Builders, at West Cowes, in the Isle of Wight, under the style of W. White and Sons. The businesses will in future be carried on at the same places (i.e., the Vectis Works and Shipbuilding Yard at West Cowes), by the said Edwin White, on his own account, under the same style. [3]
