1983 Ruberoid Contracts acquired Coverwell Roofing from M. P. Harris (Holdings)[8]
1985 Canadian Pacific brought a suit against Camrex over the treatment of 4 ships in 1979; the claim was for £18 million, in comparison with Ruberoid's market capitalisation of £29 million[9]
1988 Acquired the remainder of the shares in Norwich Corrugated Board[10]
1988 Acquired by Tarmac
1993 Floated on the stock market[11]
