Became connected with Motor Industry in 1938 with Daimler Hire Co. Ltd. Spent five years abroad during war. Took up present position in 195o. Vauxhall Motors Service Management Diploma, 1951. Section); served overseas. 1920, started own business as Motor, Motor-cycle and Cycle Repairer and Dealer at Woolpit, Suffolk. 1924, bought established Motor business at Elmswell, Suffolk, running it in conjunction with Woolpit business. 1926, formed Elmswell Electric Supply Co., and installed equipment for electricity supply to Elmswell and Woolpit. 1935, disposed of electricity undertaking to East Anglian Electricity Supply. Disposed of both Motor businesses, and purchased first of present businesses. 1941-44, undertook manufacture of Bailey Bridge ramps and underwater equipment for tanks for Ministry of Supply. 1944, formed present Limited Company. 1946, two employees of long-standing appointed Managers of two business.
