1914-16 Junior draughtsman at Jooques Aviation Co and then at Pemberton-Billing Ltd

1916-17 Aero Engine Experimental Department of Vickers

1917 Graduate member I Mech E

1918 Design office D. Napier and Son

1918-20 Palladium Autocars Ltd

1920-22 In charge of design office of British Anzani Engine Co Ltd, working on motor cycle engines

1922 Worked for himself, designing Wardill engine and writing technical articles

1923 Senior draughtsman Degory Carburator Co (sic) Ltd, Fulham; consulting engineer to Messrs Wardill and Sons; Assoc M I Auto E.

1924 Associate member I Mech E.

1934 Technical journalist.
