1864 The Peter Walker Brewery was founded in King Street, Warrington, as Walker's of Warrington

1866 The Dallam Lane site was acquired and a brewery built.

1889 Registered as Peter Walker and Son, Warrington & Burton Ltd.

1921 Merged with the Liverpool brewer Robert Cain and Sons Ltd to form Peter Walker & Robert Cain Ltd.

1946 The name was changed to Walker Cain Ltd

1960 Merged with Joshua Tetley and Son Ltd of Leeds to form Tetley Walker Ltd, later part of Carlsberg-Tetley.

1996 The Warrington brewery was closed.
