1967 Renold plc was the new name given to Renold Chains.
1974 Increased its manufacturing involvement in the USA by buying a near 100% interest in Atlas Chain and Precision Products, West Pittston, Pennsylvania.[1]
1996 Renold aquired the Holset couplings business in Halifax and renamed the company Renold Hi-Tec Couplings.
In December 1998 Renold acquired Jones and Shipman
In March 2000 Renold acquired Jeffrey Chain Corp., a leading manufacturer of industrial chain in the USA
2007 Renold plc buys Hangzhou Shanshui Chain Co. in China to establish a manufacturing base in low cost economy.
2008 Renold plc acquires controlling interest in L. G. Balakrishnan chain manufacturing company in India
