1884 Partnership change.'...the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us the undersigned, David Martineau, Philip Meadows Martineau, and George Martineau, under the style or firm of David Martineau and Sons, in the trade or business of Sugar Refiners, carried on by us at No. 6, Christian-street, St. George's-in-the-East, in the county of Middlesex, at Denmark-street, St. George's-in-the-East aforesaid, and at No. 21, Mincing-lane and No. 23, Rood-lane, both in the city of London, has this day been dissolved by mutual consent; and that the same business will in future be carried on at the said addresses under the same style by the said David Martineau and George Martineau...'[1]
1889 Became limited company. Directors included joint managing directors: David Martineau, George Martineau and Charles Haughton Gill (manager for past twelve years). Company situated at Christian Street, St. Georges-in-the-East where it was established early in the century. Includes Clyde Wharf. [2]
