Note: This is a sub-section of Auto-Cycle Club Trial
1904 Aug 15th-20th. The 2nd 6-day Trial. 995 miles. Started from Avenue Road, St. John's Wood. 45 machines left and 19 completed the course.
- Stage 1. Mon. London to Great Yarmouth. 154 Miles
- Stage 2. Tue. Yarmouth to Stamford. 203 miles
- Stage 3. Wed. Stamford to Scarborough.
- Stage 4. Thu. Scarborough to Doncaster.
- Stage 5. Fri. Doncaster to Oxford.
- Stage 6. Sat. Oxford to London.
Those completing were - Altena (No. 12), which arrived just before 6 p.m. on Saturday, August 20th, the others arriving subsequently were (No. 7) Humber; (No. 2) Rex ; (No. 18) Leader; (No. 24) Rover; (No. 20) J.A.P.; (No. 22) King; (No. 1) Brown; (Nos. 9 and 10) Alldays; (No. 4) Noble; (No. 27) Chase; (No. 30) Bat; (No. 28) Peerless; (No. 26) Quadrant; (No. 40) Phoenix tricar; (No. 23) Griffon; (No. 39) Rex tricycle. The Lagonda tricar, although arriving too late to be officially started on Monday, nevertheless went successfully through the trials and arrived with the above machines in London on Saturday.
