1928 Acquired by Powell Duffryn Steam Coal Co
Powell Duffryn Steam Coal Co's products Synthacold and Presotim were sold exclusively in Bute Street, Cardiff by Stephenson Clarke and Associated Companies.
1935 Cambrian Wagon Works Ltd was formed; by 1947 it was a branch of the company; it extended its works and range of activities[1]
1947 Another subsidiary was Maris Export and Trading Co which continued its export activities by sourcing coal from outside the UK[2]
c.1955 Acquired most of the capital of Weatherfoil Heating Systems Ltd[3]
1960 Said to be the largest coal distributing company in Britain; owns or manages 90 ships[4]
