1968 Brooke Bond and Co acquired Liebig Extract of Meat Co which owned famous food brands such as Fray Bentos and Oxo, forming Brooke Bond Liebig

1970 Acquired Hayward-Peck and Melbray (pies and cooked meats) from Melbray Group[2]

1984 Brooke Bond Liebig was acquired by Unilever

1985 Unilever sold the Mallinson-Denny timber business (acquired with Brooke Bond) to its management[3].
