- United States Brewing Co, Limited.—Directors: G. D. Whatman (Chairman), H. E. Hoare, E. M. Ind, and Hon. R. Parker. Secretary: E. A. Freeman. Office: 2, Change Alley, E.C.—The company was registered May 20, 1889, to acquire five breweries, three in Newark and two in New York, but the latter have since been sold and the proceeds applied to the redemption of the debentures.
